Is it hype or the real deal?

This place is fantastic! ! Just three minutes from Kyoto Station and surrounded by eateries and shops. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, making us feel right at home.

The room felt a bit tight and could get noisy at night due to the nearby station. Adjusting the AC was challenging, requiring us to open the sliding doors for fresh air.

The onsen was absolutely the highlight of my stay, relaxing after exploring Kyoto! 🚿 Just wish the room was a bit larger. Clean and cozy, but it felt a tad cramped for my solo trip.

The room size felt cramped, leaning towards cozy, which might not suit everyone. a larger space would enhance the experience. The public bath situation is a bit of a letdown, with it being in a common area accessible to all guests and visitors, limiting privacy after using the facilities. Also, having no in-room safe for valuables adds a layer of concern during your stay.

The food scene is top-notch, with Katsukura serving up the juiciest grilled meat that’ll have your taste buds dancing! I also loved the onsen vibe after a day of exploration – pure bliss. Plus, the staff were super friendly, and the sleek facilities made it feel like home.

Room size is a classic Japan cozy, but you get used to it quick. A slightly better view would have been nice, but who really spends that much time indoors anyway?

Had a fantastic time with friends! We visited the bamboo forest and Nijo Castle, both stunning spots. The hotel was clean, easy to find, and had friendly staff that made our stay even better. The on-site dining was delicious, and the free drinks offered were a nice touch. Definitely a great place for groups!

royal twin hotel kyoto hachijoguchi is a great spot! it’s just a short walk from the train station, making it super easy to get around. the facilities are top-notch, and the indoor public bath is a wonderful way to unwind. i also loved that they offer free drinks in the morning and at night until 11pm!

I stayed here for 3 nights, and it was just a few minutes walk to the train station, and good food options all around. The free drink bar was a nice touch, I enjoyed having juice and coffee available anytime.

It wasn’t cheap, but still decent.
